At Evolve Seafood, we’re a small, agile team with deep, long-standing partnerships across the global seafood supply chain. From the cold fjords of Norway and remote Alaskan fishing towns to the vibrant waters of the Caribbean, we work closely with top-tier aquaculture farms, fleet operators, and packing facilities to ensure quality and consistency at every step.

About
Michael O'Hanlon
Seafood has always been more than a business to me—it’s in my blood. I am part of the third generation of seafood professionals. My grandfather worked the legendary Fulton Fish Market in the 1950s, and 60s, importing and distributing fresh seafood to New York City and beyond. My father and uncles carried that torch through the 70s and 80s, and I spent much of my own childhood alongside my dad in his retail shop in the 90s. That early exposure sparked a deep curiosity in me—about the fish, the people who catch & sell it, and the complex journey it takes from the ocean to the plate.
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve dedicated my life to learning every corner of the seafood trade. My father and I built a large international import and production company together, which we successfully sold almost a decade ago with a large focus then on salmon. Since then, I’ve worked inside some of the largest seafood operations in Alaska, gaining firsthand knowledge of wild fisheries and developing relationships that span from small boat harvesters to large-scale processors.
This new venture is the culmination of everything I’ve learned—and everything I believe in. My wife and I founded this company to create a trustworthy and enjoyable place to do business. One where integrity, transparency, and a deep respect for the resource come first.
